New Mill Arts Trail
I've just put up my part of the New Mills Arts Trail at Sett Valley Cycles. I had to fit it up around a couple of bikes but it still looks good.

A busy time
Life in the country is obviously suiting me. I'm managing to create lots of new paintings and this year will see my work exhibited in more places than ever before.
Eduardo Alessandro Studios has recently received some of my work at their gallery in Scotland, with the hope that they will exhibit me at art fairs in Glasgow and Edinburgh later this year. Bohus Kunst continues to have great success throughout Scandinavia. Kathryn Bell has just returned from ArtBrooklyn with future art fairs in New York planned for later in the year. Jack Sevens Art Yard in Macclesfield is just about to begin it's spring exhibition.
I'm looking forward to showing my new neighbours what I do (other than play down the park with my kids) by exhibiting as a local artist at Rosie's Tea Rooms in Hayfield. This exhibition begins on the 24th April, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of a local historical event called the Mass Trespass (Google it). As a result I'm tempted to tinker with some miniature landscapes based on the area and it's relation to it's residents ...watch this space.
The big exhibition of the year, and my largest exhibition yet, will of course be my solo show at the Curwen Gallery in November. I've currently pencilled this in as being titled 'The Space Between'. I'm definitely excited but I'm also having a few sleepless nights about how much work I need to complete. It's certainly going to be a challenging year.

AFFORDABLE ART FAIRS
I've just had a successful Affordable Art Fair in New York thanks to Kathryn Bell Fine Art Consultants. Curwen are representing me at the Battersea AAF which begins tonight and is on until Sundayy. Then any unsold work, plus some new pieces, are travelling across London to the new Hampstead AAF beginning next Wednesday and ending next Sunday.
